ColorChip introduces an ultra-compact laser pico projector module for the AR and VR markets
Israel-based ColorChip introduces a new ultra-compact pico projector module based on its PLC SystemOnGlass platform. ColorChip targets the tethered and standalone AR/VR smartglasses market for this module.
The new pico-projector module integrates ColorChip’s ColorMux RGB Beam Combiner with a MEMS scanner. The ColorMux RGB Beam Combiner is based on ColorChip’s proprietary and patented optical waveguides embedded in a glass Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) and SystemOnGlass (SOG) integration & assembly technology.
